Message from Management
At the NHK SPRING Group, by making full use of our metal heat treatment and processing technologies cultivated in automotive parts and metal joining technologies for parts in the information and telecommunications field, we have supported the world by supplying indispensable key parts as a form of value across the automotive, information and telecommunications, and industry and lifestyle fields.
To continue developing alongside society, the NHK SPRING Group has revised its Corporate Philosophy and Basic Sustainability Policy to clarify its long-term aspirations and purpose. The NHK SPRING Group will continue to uphold the approach it has long valued. In line with this new Corporate Philosophy, the NHK SPRING Group will bring together the Group's diverse technologies, ideas, and personnel capabilities, thereby contributing to the realization of a future that inspires people.
The source of our innovative and sustainable growth is our employees, whose integrity and sincere attitude toward manufacturing are our greatest strengths. In an increasingly diverse and complex environment, we will continue to create corporate value by cherishing people and upholding initiatives that lead to the creation of rewarding and comfortable workplaces where a diverse range of human resources can flourish.
Moreover, we aim to achieve carbon neutrality and zero industrial waste from our domestic operations by 2039, which will be NHK SPRING’s 100th anniversary. At the same time, we have set a target to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050 across NHK SPRING and its consolidated subsidiaries in Japan and abroad. We expanded the scope of this target to include overseas consolidated subsidiaries in March 2025. Having set interim goals for 2026 and 2030 to achieve this target, we will review our production facilities and processes, and steadily implement activities to reduce energy consumption and CO₂ emissions and increase the ratio of renewable energy use.
In addition, amid growing expectations from all our stakeholders, we must further strengthen our sustainability efforts so that we can continue being a company that is trusted by society. To this end, in FY2024, we reviewed our sustainability promotion system and established the Sustainability Promotion Committee to systematically and periodically deliberate on measures to solve environmental, social, and governance issues. This committee now plays a central role in formulating and implementing effective measures.
NHK SPRING Group will continue to strive for the realization of a sustainable society. We look forward to your continued support and guidance.
